Taverna Aventine is a joint venture between the Vintage 415 team and Gian-Paolo Veronese, and is located steps away from the former sites of two of San Francisco's most Famous Barbary Coast drinking venues; A.P. Hotaling Company's whiskey warehouse and the Bank Exchange. Vintage cocktails from that era are available upstairs in the nautically themed bar, the real action is the stone-walled basement, with it's private bar and lockers. Sandstone blocks in the wall mark the former edge of the harbor, now Hotaling alley
